CNA/Home Health Aide - Hospice
About the role
This position will travel to see patients in the West Portland area. The CNA/Hospice Aide provides personal care, assistance with performing activities of daily living and prescribed therapeutic exercises, and basic housekeeping services essential to the comfort and cleanliness of receiving home care or hospice services. These services are specified by a written plan of care that is developed and supervised by a Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living.
- Assist with prescribed therapeutic exercises.
- Perform basic housekeeping services to ensure comfort and cleanliness.
- Follow a written plan of care developed and supervised by a Registered Nurse.
Requirements
- Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant course or equivalent training.
- Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License (upon hire).
- Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License (upon hire).
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (within 30 days of hire).
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance; compliance with all state driving laws.
- 1 year of home health/hospice experience as a nurse’s aide, hospice aide, orderly, or related experience in an acute, rehabilitative, or long-term care facility, hospice organization, or private home care.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $21.73 - $32.03 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
Schedule
Full time, Day shift.
