Job Summary

Senior Helpers, a leading nationwide provider of in-home senior care services, is seeking Certified Home Health Aides (CHHA) to join our team at Senior Helpers in Ocean County serving areas such as Brick, Manchester, Toms River, and Lakewood to name a few. We have part-time, full-time, and Live-In caregiver positions, with great pay rates!

• Live-in Certified Home Health Aide: Personal care, light housekeeping, medication reminders, companionship, and meal preparation

Home Health Aide Responsibilities

• Provide care and assistance to senior clients in accordance with their individual care plans.
• Aid with medication reminders, grooming, bathing, and other activities of daily living.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for clients.
• Engage clients in activities to promote physical and mental stimulation.
• Communicate effectively with clients and their families, as well as the Senior Helpers team.

Live-in Certified Home Health Aide Responsibilities

• Personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation assistance)
• Light housekeeping/Laundry
• Medication reminders
• Assist with daily exercises
• Companionship (Conversations, take client to activities)
• Accompany clients to appointments and errands
• Meals (Preparing specific meals, escorting to the dining room)

Qualifications and Skills

• 1 Year Experience as a Caregiver with NJ issued CHHA License
• Must be eligible to work in the US
• Nice to have a valid driver's license and vehicle for transportation

Requirements

• Valid New Jersey Home Health Aide Certification (CHHA)
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a home care or long-term care setting
• Knowledge of basic personal care and hygiene skills
• Caregiver with a compassionate and patient demeanor
