About the role
Haven Home Care is hiring in Summit County, Ohio. We offer various paths to becoming a Home Health Aide, ranging from those with existing certifications to those with no experience.
Responsibilities
You’ll go to people’s homes to help with daily life activities such as baths, dressing, meal preparation, light cleaning, running errands, and providing companionship. This is physically demanding work, and you should communicate any limitations you have regarding physical demands.
Requirements
- Driver’s license
- Own vehicle with valid insurance covering work driving
- Available between 6AM-8PM
- Legal right to work in the US
- At least 18 years old
Qualifications
- STNA license (active or expired)
- HHA certificate (30+ hours)
- Experience working under an RN or LPN for 1+ year
- No experience, but willing to complete a free 32-hour online HHA training course
Benefits

Pay
- STNA: $18/hour
- HHA certificate/experience: $16-18/hour based on interview
- Free training: $16/hour
- Private pay client referral: HHA: $19/hour, STNA: $20/hour
Schedule
Shift lengths vary, typically ranging from 2-8 hours per visit. Most aides have several clients across different days to reach their 20+ hours/week.
Flexibility
While we strive to match your preferred days and times, actual availability may be limited due to client availability. We gauge reliability with fill-in shifts during the first two weeks.
Guarantee
If you can travel anywhere we have clients and work with any client, you will start working quickly. We always have clients available somewhere, and if a match opens up in your area, you will be the first in line.
