Home Health Aide - Assisted Living

About the role

The Home Health Aide – Assisted Living provides personal care and designated health-related services designed to maintain the client’s physical and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities

• Maintain client hygiene and cleanliness
• Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitor and report changes in client’s condition to supervisor
• Administer prescribed medications as directed
• Provide assistance with meals and nutrition
• Ensure client safety and comfort
• Document client care activities accurately and timely

Requirements

• Home Health Aide certification and/or competency testing required
• Six months of Home Health Aide or NAR experience preferred
• Current certification in CPR preferred; must obtain within 60 days of hire

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Minnesota driver’s license
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency response procedures

Pay

Compensation is an individual's pay rate within the posted range, which may be determined by various factors including skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization prioritizes pay equity and considers internal team equity when making any offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical. Shift and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.

Schedule

On-call schedule with 8-hour shifts.
