Responsibilities
- Participates in interdisciplinary care planning
- Provides professional nursing services according to the plan of care
- Promotes favorable outcomes through collaborative practice and resource management
- Accurately documents services provided, facilitates coordination, justifies reimbursement, and supports quality improvement
- Demonstrates positive interpersonal relationships
- Achieves work assignments and engages in professional development
Requirements
- Successful completion of nursing education from an approved school of nursing
- Current RN licensure in the state where the branch is located
- At least one year of clinical nursing experience in an acute care or long-term setting, with home health experience preferred
- Knowledge of fundamental medical-surgical nursing principles and practice
- Excellent clinical nursing skills
- Understanding of adult learning principles
- Knowledge of medical record keeping standards
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written
- Computer proficiency and knowledge of various applications
- High-level problem-solving, critical thinking, and reasoning abilities
- CPR certified
Qualifications
Knowledge of home health care practices, familiarity with local regulations, and strong organizational skills are beneficial but not required.
