Home-Based Behavior Therapist (Part-Time)

About the role

We are hiring a part-time Behavior Therapist in San Bernardino, CA (92411) to provide in-home ABA therapy to children with autism during morning and early afternoon hours. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in childcare, education, psychology, or behavioral health, or those looking to gain experience in the ABA field.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 therapy sessions using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
• Collect data on every goal, every day to track progress.
• Teach real-world, meaningful skills that help children say their first word or make a new friend.
• Collaborate with experienced Program Supervisors and BCBAs.
• Engage in ongoing learning and professional development.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to drive between client homes.
• Reliable, professional, and able to follow direction.
• Experience working with children (babysitting, daycare, teaching, paraprofessional, etc.).

Qualifications

• Experience in ABA or behavioral therapy (preferred).
• Background in psychology, education, or a related field (a plus).

Pay

$24–$27/hour (based on experience and education)

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (in‑home/home‑based setting)
