About the role

The Hockey Coordinator will oversee the hockey events at Liberty First Credit Union Arena during the week and weekends. This role pays an hourly rate of $14.00-$16.00.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience
• Experience with hockey, sports teams, and/or events
• Ability to interact with the public with people of all ages
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
• Self-motivated and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work evenings/nights, weekends, and some holidays
• Knowledge/experience driving Zamboni preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Oversee the nightly hockey events at Ralston Arena
• Directly coach players and spectators
• Answer questions
• Take payments for ice rentals as needed
• Keep patrons out of restricted areas of the venue
• Clock times, ice cleans, and special needs/requests with the Zamboni Driver
• Lock up the building at the end of each night
