Job Summary
The Next Gen Ice Hockey Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, promoting, communicating, and day-to-day execution of Learn to Play and Continue to Play programs at the Utah Mammoth Ice Center and in communities across Utah.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Planning, scheduling, marketing & communicating (both internally and externally) Learn to Play and Continue to Play programming
- Auxiliary work with implementing all Youth Programs Department, Ice Hockey Camps, Clinics, Programs and Events including, but not limited to:
- Booking youth hockey in-game activations
- Rink Partner joint ventures
- Industry Growth Fund (IGF) initiatives and programs
- Adult Hockey programs
- Disabled Hockey programs
- Girls Hockey programs
- Maintain a relationship with UAHA
- All existing programming, as well as all new ice hockey programming that may be developed and/or administered by the youth programs Department.
- Assist Youth Street Hockey coordinator with special projects.
- Ensuring strict compliance with all IGF requirements and standards, as well as all sponsor requirements and standards.
- Ensuring sufficient staffing for all youth events including participating in such events as a lead instructor.
- Maintaining a detailed inventory of youth programs ice hockey property.
- Such other duties, projects, and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Director of Amateur Hockey and Youth Strategy from time-to-time.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 2 years’ youth hockey experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office products (Outlook, Word and Excel).
Physical Demands
- This person must be able to communicate and express themselves both written and verbally.
- This person must be able to observe, inspect, estimate and assess.
- This person must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, and climb stairs for long periods of time.
- This person must be able to lift 25 lbs.
