Histotechnologist or Histotechnician (Overnight)

About the role

Section paraffin and frozen tissue specimens as requested. Perform basic histology techniques including embedding, microtomy, and tissue processing. Analyze and troubleshoot equipment-related issues. Maintain vital quality control and assurance records.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field with knowledge of Biology and Chemistry
• NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist, Technician, or Certified Histology Technician license preferred
• Eligibility to obtain NYS license required

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM or 1:00 AM to 9:00 AM, 100% onsite

$46.26 – $74.00 per hour
