Responsibilities
- Section paraffin and frozen tissue specimens as requested.
- Perform basic histology techniques (e.g., embed, microtomy, process tissue).
- Analyze and troubleshoot equipment-related issues.
- Maintain vital quality control and assurance records.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field with knowledge of Biology, Chemistry.
- NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist, Technician, or Certified Histology Technician license preferred. Eligibility to obtain NYS license required.

- Ability to perform dilutions and laboratory calculations.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong digital literacy including working with databases.
- Problem solver, who can manage complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.

Schedule
Monday - Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM or 1 AM to 9:00 AM, 100% onsite.
Location
Main Hospital Campus, 1275 York Avenue, New York, NY.
Pay
Pay Range: $46.26 - $74.00 per hour. 10% differential for overnight schedule.
