About the role

Supports the delivery of patient care by performing histology techniques utilized in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.

Responsibilities

• Performs histology processing including embedding, microtomy, and manual/automated staining in accordance with standard operating procedures and accreditation requirements.
• Demonstrates organizational skills to complete work assignments within scheduled times.

Requirements

• Must have previous histology experience, microtomy, and embedding.
• Experience in IHC and special staining preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus training acquired through work experience or education.
• 1-2 years of previous job-related experience.
• Associate's Degree OR equivalent training acquired via work experience or education.

Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous histology experience, microtomy, and embedding.
• IHC and special staining experience preferred.

Pay

Pay Range: $25.00 - 39.60 USD Hourly

Schedule

Shift: Nights
Monday - Friday 11:00pm-7:30am
