Multi-Craft Maint Tech (Nights)

About the role

The Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician is responsible for setup, installation, troubleshooting, repair and testing of complex mechanical/electrical equipment including automatic machines and process controls, motor control centers and related controls, computer control systems, some with human/machine interfaces, as well as basic plant electrical equipment; this includes preventive maintenance activities related to production and building equipment, machinery and components.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Reviews and accurately reports personal activities on a daily, or more frequent, basis
• Affords assistance to the Maintenance Lead Person and/or the Maintenance Manager in determining proper installation and/or repair procedures for mechanical, electrical and/or electronic equipment
• Notifies the Maintenance Manager or Maintenance Lead Person if additional hand, power or electronic diagnostic tools are required
• Participates in a preventive maintenance program as directed by Maintenance supervision
• Affirms adherence to safe work practices and company policies at all times
• Affords assistance to the Maintenance Lead Person and/or Maintenance Manager in establishing and maintaining optimum inventory levels of critical components
• Performs other duties as directed by the Maintenance Manager
• Capable of operating lift truck
• Maintains a valid driver’s license
