Hiring Immediately! CNC Machine Operators - 2nd Shift

About the role

As a CNC Machine Operator you will work with team members to produce machined parts for plasma cutting systems through machining, assembly, and packaging tasks in an assigned manufacturing area, using standard work instructions. The role is for 2nd shift and is based in Lebanon & Hanover, New Hampshire. New hires begin with the CNC Fundamentals course (approximately 4 weeks on 1st shift, 7:00 am–3:30 pm) offered through Hypertherm Associates' Technical Training Institute, a US Department of Labor‑approved apprenticeship program.

Responsibilities

• Produce machined parts for plasma cutting systems via machining, assembly, and packaging
• Follow standard work instructions in an assigned manufacturing area
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to reduce environmental impact, enhance quality, lower cost, and increase shared profits
• Contribute to the 100% Associate‑owned company through ownership‑culture activities

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Comfort working in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods (8‑hour shifts)
• Tolerate repetitive motion
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced factory setting

Skills

• Comfort and interest in working with technology, including experience with MS Office (Outlook/Excel) and Windows operating systems
• Positive attitude
• Ability and willingness to learn technical material in a school‑like setting
• Excitement about working with a team and within a collaborative ownership culture
