About the role
We are looking for a Highway Design Coordinator who can work on a team with other project engineers on the detailed design of urban and rural infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a BS in Civil Engineering or a related field, and a strong commitment to our employee-owned culture.
Responsibilities
- Work on a team with other project engineers on the detailed design of urban and rural infrastructure projects.
- Preparing calculations, reports, memos, cost estimates, and other documentation are also essential functions of the position.
- Taking responsibility for alignment and profile, geometrics, drainage, development of plans and construction estimates.
- Designing work, primarily using Civil3, may include horizontal and vertical alignment for roadways, intersection/interchange layout, cross sections, approach design, drainage calculations, utility plans, and other elements.
- Providing assistance with the creation and submission of technical reports, specifications and calculations.
- Working with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver transportation infrastructure projects of various sizes and complexity.
- Performing other duties as needed.
Requirements
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field required.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to work in a team environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Word/Excel/Outlook).
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is required.

Skills
- Proficiency with Civil3 software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Pay
Salary range for this position is $75,000 - $100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
