Highway Design Engineer
About the role
Century Engineering, LLC, a Kleinfelder Company, is seeking experienced candidates for highway design roles under the guidance of an experienced project manager. Candidates will assist in maintaining existing and building new client relationships, performing engineering tasks in the transportation and highway engineering field, and preparing engineering documents for advertisement and construction.
Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining and building new client relationships
- Perform engineering tasks in the transportation and highway engineering field
- Prepare engineering documents for advertisement and construction
Requirements
- B.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program
- Professional Engineering License preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Open Road Design (OED), MicroStation, Inroads or Geopak
- 4 to 10+ years of design experience in the highway transportation field
- Experience with project delivery of State Agency Transportation Departments
