About the role
Highland Senior Living, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is seeking an Executive Director to join their growing team. Located in Little Falls, Minnesota, the facility offers a combination of Assisted Living and Memory Care Units with a total of 65 units. The position involves leading and directing the facility's operations to ensure excellent care for residents while achieving business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Maintains excellent care for residents/tenants by monitoring each department’s activities, communicating policies, evaluating performance, providing feedback, assisting, observing, and coaching/staffing as needed.
- Fosters a creative, problem-solving, and empowering environment for the facility management team through regular rounds, ensuring nursing care, support department operations, cleanliness, staff morale, and resident needs are met.
- Ensures compliance with employment laws, company policies, and practices that maintain high morale and staff retention, including communication, problem resolution, and a proactive work environment.
- Maintains positive relationships with government regulators, residents, families, area healthcare providers, physicians, and the community at large.
- Manages facility budgets and business practices, including labor costs, payables, and receivables, and develops a marketing strategy that reflects service opportunities, market area changes, and maximizes census, payer mix, and ancillary revenues.
Qualifications
- Licensed as an Assisted Living Director in the state of operation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Gerontology, Business, or a related field.
- Experience in marketing, sales, and/or advertising.
- Passion and experience in working with memory care.
- Minimum of two years of management or supervisory experience in long-term care or acute care.
