Executive Director
Responsibilities
- Serves as the community leader and manages financial, human resource, and operations aspects.
- Ensures implementation of policies and procedures related to resident care.
- Supervises and assists in providing all resident services, coordinating with independent health care providers as needed.
- Supervises recruitment, interviewing, hiring, evaluating, and disciplining community team members.
- Aids in developing and implementing sales/marketing strategies with the Director of Sales and the Sales team to meet occupancy goals.
- Coordinates maintenance standards across the community, including resident units, common areas, and grounds.
- Manages, directs, and coordinates all activities in compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as community policies and procedures.
- Controls income and expenses within annual budget projections using available resources.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required, college credits or degree preferred.
- RHA, LNHA, HFA preferred (required in some states).
- Must meet state experience requirements for running a senior living community, including licensure or credentials.
- Three to five years of leadership experience required.
