About the role

The Terraces at Los Altos (TLA) is a vibrant Life Plan Community known for its beautiful campus, engaged and accomplished residents, and culture of connection, well-being, and lifelong purpose. We are seeking an Executive Director (ED) to lead TLA, overseeing daily operations, setting the tone for resident and team member experiences, and ensuring we deliver the highest level of service while meeting financial and operational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Leads planning process to develop goals for quality care, team member retention and financial performance;
  • Manages the day-to-day operations of the community;
  • Prepares annual budgets for approval by Senior Regional Management;
  • Represents community at community meetings and promotes programs through various news media;
  • Makes sure performance for achievement of goals and for improvement, and takes corrective action when necessary;
  • Works as Compliance Liaison and ensures that Compliance Program and Corporate Compliance Agreement (CCA) requirements are met in the facility.

Requirements

  • Balances big-picture vision with day-to-day execution;
  • Thrives in a mission-driven environment;
  • Has at least 5 years of senior-level experience in senior living administration or related field;
  • Currently holds a NHA Certification (required for the Skilled Nursing department);
  • Has a current RCFE Certification—able to act as licensed Administrator for Residential Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care;
  • Has a bachelor’s degree in a related field (business, social work, gerontology, public administration, etc.) with a master’s degree being strongly desirable.

$190-225K base salary + significant performance-based bonus
