The Role

Run 60 to 90 minute consultative closing calls (typically 3 to 4 per day) on $15K to $100K engagements, via phone and video.

Own follow-up and momentum. Same-day recap messages after every call restating what was discussed and agreed. Next-day and structured multi-touch follow-up until the prospect decides. No deal goes quiet because we went quiet.

Close and collect. Commission pays on cash collected, so you carry deals through signed agreement and first payment, not just a verbal yes.

Study and replicate the playbook. Review the founder’s recorded calls, learn what works against our specific objections, and mirror it before you improvise.

Maintain impeccable CRM hygiene in Attio: deal stages current, notes detailed enough for effortless handoffs, next steps always dated.

Surface field intelligence. Recurring objections, pricing friction, and lead-quality patterns go to the sales and operations team, mirroring how our setter team works.

Collaborate with the setter team on qualification standards, prep quality, and show rates. You are their downstream customer; make the feedback loop work.

What We're Looking For

Documented high-ticket closing experience. You have personally closed $10,000+ engagements over phone or video and can prove it with commission statements, W-9/1099 records, or recorded calls.

Native-level spoken English with an exceptional phone presence. Daily long-format calls with US-based physician-track clients and their families; your communication must land perfectly on the first pass.

Consultative, long-format selling style. You diagnose before you prescribe. Pressure scripts and countdown-timer tactics are a disqualifier here, not an asset.

Relentless, systematic follow-up discipline. Your deals are documented, your recaps are same-day, and your pipeline never depends on memory.

Clear, concise, professional written English. Recap emails and follow-up messages are half this job.

Comfort with a commission-heavy structure. You want your income tied to performance and you have the track record to back that confidence.

Bonus (strongly preferred): you know this world. Former premed, MCAT alum, med school dropout, or experience selling in medical education, admissions consulting, test prep, or medical devices. If you can speak AMCAS, ERAS, and Casper without a glossary, say so early and prominently.

Bonus: Familiarity with Attio or similar modern CRM, Calendly, Google Workspace, Notion. Success in This Role Looks Like

• You’ll be measured weekly on cash collected, close rate on booked calls, follow-up execution, and CRM hygiene.
• Specifically:
• Month 1: Playbook internalized. You’ve studied the founder’s call library, shadowed live calls, passed graded mock closes, and begun taking booked calls with recaps going out same-day.
• Month 2: Full call volume. Close rate on booked calls at or above the baseline set by the founder’s recorded benchmark, zero deals stalled for lack of follow-up.
• Month 3: You are the primary closer for the company. The founder has been fully bought out of daily selling, and your collected-cash numbers fund your own comp several times over.

Compensation & Engagement Terms

Uncapped commission on cash collected, $180K OTE, paid on our standard 15-day contractor cycle as client payments land.

Monthly draw against commission during ramp so you have a floor while you learn the playbook.

Independent contractor (1099) engagement. You control your methods and working setup; we define outcomes, brand standards, and quality bars.

Fully remote. Call availability follows prospect demand, which concentrates in US afternoon, evening, and weekend windows.
