High School Volunteer Football Coach - KASD and BHASD Co-Op
About the Role
The Brandywine Heights Area School District, in collaboration with the Kutztown Area School District, is seeking a High School Volunteer Football Coach to assist the Kutztown Football team. This role supports a shared vision for program growth and maximizes participation opportunities for athletes from both districts.
As a staff member of the Athletic Department under the direction of the Athletic Director, the volunteer coach will supervise training, practices, and instructional sessions; oversee athlete performance and conduct; assist in cultivating and maintaining a positive team culture; and provide a positive experience for student-athletes in an educational setting. Additional duties may be assigned by the Athletic Director.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- High School varsity level coaching in football preferred
- Evidence of effective leadership of a scholastic squad (Varsity, JV, Junior High) preferred
- Ability to articulate a vision for building or enhancing the scholastic program, including collaboration with community programs
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

- Current Act 114 Federal Criminal history background check
- Current Act 151 Child Abuse background check
- Current Act 24 Arrest/Conviction Report and Certification Form
- Negative TB Test
