Essential Functions

• Oversee all team activities
• Supervise games and training sessions
• Aid in recruitment
• Maintain records and make travel arrangements
• Teach fundamental sports skills
• Promote values of responsibility and commitment
• Encourage parent involvement
• Provide a safe and fun environment
• Follow association and league rules
• Attend meetings and functions
• Build a positive team environment
• Organize travel arrangements
• Facilitate and supervise training sessions
• Prepare and maintain training equipment and facilities
• Aid in recruitment of students
• Monitor and evaluate team performance
• Keep records of students, training sessions, games, performance statistics, and equipment

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous youth coaching or instructional experience preferred
• Complete all required training and obtain coach certification and pay the nominal fee
• First Aid and/or CPR certification preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Pre-Employment screening required: criminal background check and drug testing
