About the role
The Assistant Volunteer Football Coach will support the high school football program at Bayside High School in Virginia Beach, VA. Reporting to the Principal or SAC, this position is part-time and begins in the 2026-2027 school year.
Responsibilities
- Assist in game preparation and strategy discussions
- Support team meetings and practices
- Work with the head coach to develop and implement training programs
- Attend all home games and travel as needed
Requirements
- Must have a passion for coaching and a commitment to student development
- Experience playing or coaching football is preferred but not required
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pass a background check
