High School Retail Associate-North Strabane (Part-Time)

About the role

Bethel Bakery is hiring friendly and reliable middle/high school students to join our team and gain customer service experience in a fun, fast-paced bakery. No experience needed—we’ll train you!

Student Availability Requirements

• Consistent, year-round availability
• Available to work 3–4 weekdays after school, including either Monday or Wednesday, generally between 3:45–6:30 p.m.
• Up to an 8-hour Saturday shift
• Typically scheduled for 2–3 weekdays plus Saturdays, based on business needs
• Closed Sundays and major holidays—no late nights

What You’ll Do

• Greet customers and assist with purchases
• Restock and organize bakery display cases and shelves with products
• Operate the cash register
• Keep the store clean and inviting

Requirements

• At least 14 years old with a valid work permit
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Able to stand for the duration of your shift
• Comfortable lifting trays of products and decorated cakes weighing up to 30 pounds
• Good communication and basic math skills
