Role Overview

A Math Teacher responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, and Physics, aligned with standards and curriculum frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging lessons that foster conceptual understanding and real-world connections.
• Utilize technology and innovative methods to enhance learning.
• Assess student progress using formative and summative data, adjusting instruction accordingly.
• Create a positive classroom environment promoting respect, curiosity, and perseverance.
• Differentiate instruction to support diverse learners, providing intervention and enrichment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Master's degree in Mathematics, Education, or related field.
• 3–5 years of high school teaching experience preferred.
• Experience with Algebra, Geometry, Physics, and Dual Enrollment courses.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience integrating instructional technology.
• Virginia teaching license or eligibility is preferred.
