POSITION TITLE: High School Math Teacher 9th-12th - Tecumseh High School

About the role

Tecumseh High School seeks a dynamic and passionate High School Math Teacher to join our dedicated faculty. The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and foster a love for learning.

Responsibilities

• Instruct high school mathematics courses, including Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, and Pre-Calculus.
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state standards and curriculum guidelines.
• Evaluate student progress through regular assessments and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional strategies and support student success.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic excellence and personal growth.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Mathematics or related field from an accredited institution.
• Valid Ohio teaching license/certificate.
• At least three years of successful teaching experience at the high school level.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse student body and staff.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

The teacher will be scheduled to teach four periods per day, Monday through Friday, with summers off.
