High Rollers - Private Dining Event Server

About the Role

A typical day as an Event Server includes:

• Greeting guests joining us for private events with a welcoming smile and friendly demeanor
• Attending to guests and taking food and/or beverage orders if applicable
• Serving the event menu selections according to the BEO
• Ensuring guests' orders are accurate and served in a timely manner
• Anticipating guest needs and fulfilling them
• Preparing guest checks and collecting accurate payment when needed
• Resolving any service issues that arise with empathy and according to guidelines
• Monitoring guest consumption of alcohol and intervening when needed according to all company guidelines
• Promoting Big Night Entertainment Group in a positive and professional manner
• Maintaining a clean and well-stocked work environment
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

This job might be for you if you demonstrate the following abilities and meet the following qualifications:

• At least 1 year of direct serving experience in a fast-paced bar/restaurant required
• TIPS Certification required
• A neat and professional appearance
• Efficient and accurate communication skills
• Ability to build guest loyalty with an outgoing and friendly demeanor
• Excellent memory and ability to multitask
• Work schedule flexibility with night, weekend, and holiday availability
• A positive attitude and aptitude to handle high-volume environments

Physical Demands

• May be required to lift or move up to 25 lbs using proper lifting techniques
• Must withstand long hours on your feet in a fast-paced, high-energy environment

Schedule

• Non-typical hours will be customary including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Weekend availability is required
