About the role
Provide specialized patient care in a high-risk cardiology unit, caring for patients with conditions such as CAD, HTN, arrhythmias, heart failure, valve disease, and pulmonary hypertension. Collaborate closely with Hospitalist Attendings and cardiology consultants to deliver comprehensive care. Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care activities following nursing standards. Educate patients and families on managing illnesses, medications, and post-treatment needs. Promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance through active participation. Develop and communicate individualized care plans in coordination with the healthcare team, patients, and families. Utilize critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and cultural considerations.

Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree; Bachelor’s preferred.
- Licensure: RN license required.
- Experience: No experience required; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and extensive EKG certifications.
