Role Overview: This position involves providing direct patient care in a high-risk cardiology unit, managing patients with complex cardiac conditions such as CAD, HTN, arrhythmias, heart failure, and valve disease. The role includes assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans in collaboration with an interprofessional team, patients, and families. Emphasis is placed on promoting patient-centered care, ensuring safety, and supporting patient education on illness management and medication use. The nurse will participate in activities that enhance quality, safety, and regulatory compliance, while continuously developing professionally. Qualifications & Skills: Required: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree and RN licensure.Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and two years of experience.Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and extensive EKG certifications. Key Duties: Deliver compassionate, patient-family centered care within a healing environment.Educate patients and families on illness management, home care, and medication administration.Develop and document personalized care plans, ensuring effective communication across care teams.Assess physical, psychosocial, emotional, spiritual, and cultural needs, respecting patient preferences and barriers.Maintain safety standards and participate in ongoing professional development.
