Role Overview Provides direct patient care in a high-risk cardiology unit, managing complex cardiac conditions such as CAD, HTN, arrhythmias, heart failure, and post-procedure care. Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team including hospitalists and medical professionals to deliver comprehensive care. Responsibilities Promotes patient and family-centered care through education on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs.Participates in ensuring patient safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.Develops and documents individualized care plans, communicating effectively across care teams.Assesses physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and cultural considerations.Uses critical nursing skills for evaluation and intervention, adhering to established standards. Qualifications & Skills Minimum: Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree and RN license.Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing and 2+ years of experience.Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and extensive EKG training are required.
