Operations

• Possess good mechanical skills, troubleshooting skills, and general maintenance knowledge.
• Should be able to read and write English and do basic math.
• Requires knowledge of machinery, mechanisms, pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings, gears, seals, sprockets, belts, and vari-drives.
• Keep equipment functioning in a safe and efficient manner.
• Utilize skill and experience to perform inspections and repairs on equipment safely, accurately, and quickly.
• Work from Job Orders and P.M. cards that are assigned with minimal supervision or direction.
• Analyze malfunctioning equipment; determine the cause and cure. If possible, correct the problem safely and with minimal downtime and cost.
• Work with and communicate with various levels of supervision and personnel in all departments in a positive, professional manner.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: None required.

Skills

• Reading, math, and leadership skills necessary.
