About the role
We are partnering with an established manufacturer and service provider in Southern California that is looking to add a skilled mechanic to its team.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy construction equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance, major repairs, and component replacements
- Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and diesel systems
- Work on equipment such as: Excavators, Backhoes, Forklifts, Bulldozers, and Other heavy construction equipment
- Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high safety and quality standards
Requirements
- 1-5+ years of heavy equipment mechanic experience
- Strong experience working on heavy construction equipment (excavators, backhoes, forklifts, bulldozers, etc.)
- Solid troubleshooting skills with: Hydraulic systems, Electrical systems, Pneumatic systems, Diesel engines
- Experience performing repairs beyond routine maintenance
- Stable work history
- Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus)
Pay
Competitive pay: $30-35/hour (based on experience)
