About the role
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys diagnosing and repairing heavy construction equipment while working in a clean, well-equipped shop environment.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy construction equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance, major repairs, and component replacements
- Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and diesel systems
- Work on equipment such as: excavators, backhoes, forklifts, bulldozers, and other heavy construction equipment
- Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high safety and quality standards
Requirements
- 1–5+ years of heavy equipment mechanic experience
- Strong experience working on heavy construction equipment (excavators, backhoes, forklifts, bulldozers, etc.)
- Solid troubleshooting skills with:
- Hydraulic systems
- Electrical systems
- Pneumatic systems
- Diesel engines
- Experience performing repairs beyond routine maintenance
- Stable work history
- Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus)
