Hides - Cueros

Overview

Must be able to work in any of the positions available in the Hides Department. Working conditions are wet/damp with temperatures higher than 75 degrees. Ability to lift at least 70 lbs and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Stand for extended periods on concrete/elevated work platforms
• Tolerate hot/humid indoor working conditions (75+ degrees)
• Lift 80 lbs repeatedly
• Perform repetitive motions
• Work required shift schedule, including Monday through Sunday and overtime hours
• Use required safety equipment
• Ascend/descend stairs, ladders, trucks, trailers, and tractors
• Walk on uneven/unstable/wet/slippery surfaces
• Trimming, stacking, fisher, and flasher duties
