NYU Langone Health is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible hepatologist at NYU Langone Hospital – Long Island. The candidate will focus on hepatology with clinical responsibilities including managing the inpatient hepatology service and performing basic endoscopic procedures.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, manage, and treat patients with liver diseases
- Develop an academic area of expertise (e.g., hepatology of inflammatory bowel disease, oncology-related liver disease, chronic hepatitis B, PBC, geriatric hepatology, or alcoholic liver disease, particularly its impact on diverse, disadvantaged communities)
- Teach medical students, medical residents, and GI fellows
- Participate in basic, clinical, or outcomes research
- Contribute to the development of a clinical trials program (mentorship available)
Qualifications
- Board-certified or board-eligible in hepatology

Pay
$325,000–$375,000 (full-time employment; does not include incentive compensation or benefits). Actual salary may vary based on experience, training, hospital/community need, and other factors.
