Physician - Hepatology

About the role

Engage in the growth of a dynamic transplant program by providing expert clinical care in liver disease and transplantation. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including transplant surgeons, anesthesiologists, and intensivists. Contribute to innovative initiatives such as robotic organ transplantation, living donor liver transplants, and auto-islet transplantation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical care in liver disease and transplantation
• Support academic research activities
• Mentor trainees and fellows
• Potentially assume leadership roles within the program
• Engage in cutting-edge liver transplant procedures
• Contribute to advancing liver disease management

Requirements

• Board certification in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology
• Demonstrated leadership in liver transplant care
• Commitment to program development, academic scholarship, and mentorship

Qualifications

Experience or interest in living donor transplantation, advanced liver therapies, and clinical trials is highly desirable.
