Position Overview The role involves providing comprehensive transplant hepatology care, managing all phases of liver disease, including pre- and post-transplant patient care, and overseeing a busy Advanced Liver Disease practice. Key Responsibilities Conducting procedures such as upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, and liver biopsies. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team on patient selection, quality assurance, education, and research. Teaching and mentoring Internal Medicine and GI residents, fellows, and medical students. Participating in clinical research activities and presentations at national meetings. Qualifications & Skills BC/BE in Hepatology. Training in GI and Transplant Hepatology Fellowship. Arizona medical license or eligibility. Essential Functions Performing endoscopic and biopsy procedures.
