About the role

This field-based role enables associates to primarily operate in the field, traveling to client sites or designated locations as their role requires, with occasional office attendance for meetings or training. This approach ensures flexibility, responsiveness to client needs, and direct, hands-on engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Drives profitability at the district and infusion centers level by effectively leading frontline associates.
  • Manages sales activities to produce desired sales results established leadership.
  • Manages the profitability within the budget of their district by maximizing profitable revenue, staffing levels and sales expenses while maximizing patient growth.
  • Works closely with the Center Operations Managers (COMs) and regional leadership to ensure the highest quality of support for patients.
  • Understands business implications of decisions.
  • Fosters interdependence and collaboration among team members.
  • Makes sure progress is being made towards meeting established objectives.
  • Ensures optimum coverage for all customers and potential customers.
  • Monitors progress in meeting established objectives.
  • Oversees pre-call plans and contact reports through client relationship management (CRM).
  • Completes customer contact and market reports and informs leadership on market changes.
  • Forecasts sales performance.
  • Safeguards effective distribution of products in the district including adequate stocking and adequate coverage of all distribution channels.
  • Utilizes staff as consultants in coordinating large programs such as symposia, medical director and other speakers' bureau.
  • Manages and controls expenses to maximize return on investment.
  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Requirements

  • Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 3 years sales and business development experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Hemophilia Experience strongly preferred.
  • Strongly prefer experience in healthcare.

Benefits

For candidates working in person or virtually in the below location(s), the salary range for this specific position is $90,800 to $149,820. Locations: Illinois. In addition to your salary, Elevance Health offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
