About the role

Provides direct patient care within standards of nursing practice, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient- and family‑centered care, educating on illness management, post‑treatment care, and medication administration.
• Participates in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while engaging in ongoing professional development.
• Develops, implements, and documents personalized care plans with clear goals, collaborating with the healthcare team and patients/families.
• Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors.
• Works in a safety‑sensitive environment, maintaining constant alertness to ensure safe practice.

Qualifications

• Educational requirement: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Active RN licensure required.
• No prior experience required, though a minimum of 2 years’ experience is preferred for advanced roles.
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical‑thinking skills essential for delivering quality patient care.
• Experience with peritoneal dialysis preferred.
