Hemodialysis Clinical Nurse (Night Shift)

About the role

This position provides direct patient care within a specialized dialysis unit. The nurse is responsible for assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing activities, promotes patient‑ and family‑centered care, educates patients on managing illness, and participates in safety, quality, and regulatory activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop individualized care plans for dialysis patients.
• Communicate effectively across multidisciplinary care teams.
• Assess patients’ physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs while respecting their values and cultural considerations.
• Ensure safe delivery of care in a safety‑sensitive environment.
• Foster professional development of self and peers.
• Participate in on‑call duties, weekend shifts, and staggered hours to maintain continuous patient coverage.

Requirements

• Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree in Nursing.
• Current RN licensure.

Preferred qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• At least two years of nursing experience.
• Experience in peritoneal dialysis.

Schedule

The role includes on‑call duties, weekend shifts, and staggered hours to ensure 24‑hour patient coverage.
