Hematology Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
About the role
The Allina Health Cancer Institute (AHCI) invites Oncology Nurse Practitioners (NPs) or Physician Assistants (PAs) passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered cancer care in a close-knit community setting to join our growing team in Cambridge, Minnesota.
Responsibilities
- Provides help with all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatments, and consultations as part of a physician/nurse team in accordance with the designated specialty.
- Works in both inpatient and outpatient situations and can perform independently or as part of a treatment team.
- Serves as an educator, case manager, consultant to staff and multidisciplinary health care team.
Requirements
- Master's degree - Completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Oncology as a provider or other provider experience.
- Licensed Registered Nurse - MN Board of Nursing required upon hire (NP)
- Certified Nurse Practitioner - American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) certification within specialty or Certified Physician Assistant - (NCCPA) - National Commission Certification of Physician Assistants within specialty upon hire required.
- BLS - Multisource required within 180 Days
- Drug Enforcement Administration required upon hire
- Physical Demands: Medium Work*

Pay
Pay Range: $135,096 to $164,216 per year. The pay described reflects the starting base pay range, assuming a full-time FTE. Your starting rate will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).
