About the role
Piedmont Oncology, Piedmont Healthcares newly reorganized cancer program, is recruiting a board certified/board eligible medical hematology/oncology physician for its Piedmont Newton Hospital location in Covington, GA.
Responsibilities
- Support a rapidly growing and evolving cancer program both locally and across the 23-hospital system.
- Support and expand the clinical excellence aligned with discovery and innovation associated with Piedmont Oncology.
- Work well with other providers both locally and across Piedmont Oncology.
Requirements
- Georgia medical license required.
- Strong communication skills.
- Genuine compassion for the patients and the patients family/support teams.
Qualifications
- Board certification or eligibility preferred.
- Experience in oncology or hematology is highly desirable.
