Role & Responsibilities: The Hematologist/Oncologist will provide comprehensive care in a general hematology and oncology practice, managing new consults, follow-ups, treatment, and survivorship. They will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, develop subspecialty interests (e.g., breast, prostate, GU cancers), and participate in inpatient consults. The role offers leadership opportunities, including Associate Medical Director responsibilities such as physician recruitment, program growth, and regional outreach. Qualifications & Skills: Candidates should have experience in hematology and oncology, with leadership interest preferred. Strong collaboration, communication, and strategic development skills are essential. The role requires familiarity with oncology resources, clinical trials, and multidisciplinary care approaches. Key Duties Build and expand oncology services within a growing cancer programLead physician recruitment and mentorship effortsDevelop and implement program growth strategiesCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including APPs and specialistsParticipate in community outreach and marketing initiativesEngage in regional physician relationship development The practice benefits from advanced oncology infrastructure, including imaging, pathology, infusion, radiation, and access to clinical trials and survivorship programs.
