About the Role

Piedmont Oncology, Piedmont Healthcare's newly reorganized cancer program, is recruiting a board certified/board eligible medical hematology/oncology physician for its Piedmont Fayette Hospital location in Fayetteville, GA. This position will support a rapidly growing and evolving cancer program both locally and across the 23-hospital system. The new physician will support and expand clinical excellence aligned with discovery and innovation associated with Piedmont Oncology.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated to excel as a clinician and work well with other providers both locally and across Piedmont Oncology. Piedmont Oncology will provide numerous opportunities to participate in and lead research and care pathway initiatives across the system.

Requirements

• Board certified or board eligible in medical hematology/oncology
• Georgia medical license required
• Strong communication skills and genuine compassion for patients and their families/support teams

Piedmont Fayette Hospital is a 310-bed, acute care, not-for-profit community hospital located in Fayetteville, GA. Fayette County offers access to great schools (public and private), diverse housing options, and extensive recreational and social activities. The location is just moments from Hartsfield-Jackson Airport and downtown Atlanta.
