About the role
Piedmont Oncology, a newly reorganized cancer program within Piedmont Healthcares, is recruiting a board certified/board eligible medical hematology/oncology physician for its Piedmont Eastside Hospital location in Snellville, GA.
Piedmont Eastside is a 40-minute drive from Atlanta proper and Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. This position supports a rapidly growing and evolving cancer program both locally and across the 23-hospital system.
Responsibilities
The new physician will support and expand the clinical excellence aligned with discovery and innovation associated with Piedmont Oncology. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated to excel as a clinician and work well with other providers both locally and across Piedmont Oncology.
Requirements
The BE/BC candidate will require a Georgia medical license. Strong communication skills and genuine compassion for patients and their families/support teams are essential.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background, a minimum of 3 years of post-graduate training, and experience in hematology/oncology.
Skills
Leadership skills, ability to collaborate effectively, and a commitment to patient-centered care are highly valued.
