Hematologist/Oncologist - Locum Tenens Coverage

About the Role

This outpatient Hematology/Oncology physician position involves providing clinical care within a mid-size medical center, managing approximately 20 adult patients daily in a clinic setting.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat general hematologic and oncologic conditions
• Document all patient encounters using EPIC EMR
• Utilize the Aria treatment planning system

Requirements

• Active Kentucky state licensure
• Board certification in Hematology/Oncology
• Prescriptive authority
• Hospital privileges

Skills

• Strong clinical judgment
• Familiarity with outpatient oncology care
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and treatment planning systems
• Adaptable and detail-oriented
• Capable of managing a consistent patient load while maintaining quality care standards

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no call or weekend duties.
