Hematologist/Oncologist - Locum Tenens Coverage

Role Overview

This position is for an outpatient Hematology/Oncology Physician providing clinic coverage in a Level I Trauma Center with specialized cancer and blood disorder services. The clinician will deliver care on-site, managing a caseload of 8-12 patients daily, with no call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient hematology and oncology care in a clinical setting
• Manage 8-12 scheduled patients per day
• Work during day shifts, either Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday
• Prescribe medications and treatments within scope of practice
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team to deliver quality patient care

Qualifications & Skills

• Board certification in Hematology/Oncology
• Prescriptive authority required
• Experience in outpatient hematology and oncology preferred
