Hematologist/Oncologist - Locum Tenens Coverage

About the role

Join a specialized outpatient hematology and oncology practice providing comprehensive cancer and blood disorder treatments in a dynamic, patient-centered environment with support staff to enhance clinical efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage approximately 12 adult patients daily in a clinic setting
• Provide outpatient care with a focus on 70% oncology and 30% hematology cases, including benign conditions
• Collaborate with a team of 4 clinicians, 1 advanced practice provider, nurse navigators, schedulers, and pharmacy support
• Handle a 1:4 call rotation, including weeknights and weekends
• Maintain prescriptive authority and coordinate patient care effectively

Requirements

• Board certification in hematology/oncology
• Experience managing adult hematology and oncology patients
• Strong coordination and communication skills
