Hematologist/Oncologist - Locum Tenens Coverage

About the Role

We are seeking a licensed clinician to provide outpatient hematology and oncology services in a structured clinic setting. The role involves delivering on-site care to adult patients, managing approximately 15 cases daily, with a clinical focus split between hematology (40%) and oncology (60%).

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive outpatient hematology and oncology care
• Manage general hematologic and oncologic conditions
• Collaborate with a support team comprising an advanced practice provider, nurses, and medical assistants
• Prescribe medications and treatments within scope of practice

Requirements

• Board certification is negotiable
• Hospital privileges are required, with expedited processes available
• Experience in outpatient hematology and oncology preferred
• Ability to manage a high-volume patient load

Schedule

Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. No call or weekend coverage required.

Work Environment

Support staff includes an advanced practice provider (APP), nurses, and medical assistants. This role is ideal for clinicians seeking a focused outpatient role in a community setting.
