Hematologist/Oncologist - Locum Tenens Coverage

We are seeking an outpatient Hematology/Oncology Physician (MD) for ongoing locum coverage in Murray, KY.

About the role

The role involves providing adult outpatient care in a structured clinic setting, managing an average of 15 patients daily with a practice split of 40% hematology and 60% oncology. The clinician will work supported by a full-time advanced practice provider, medical assistants, and a registered nurse.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no call or weekend duties.

Responsibilities

• Delivering general hematologic and oncologic care
• Prescriptive authority
• Handling outpatient consultations

Requirements

• Hospital privileges (can be expedited through a temporary process)
• Prescriptive authority required
• Experience in hematology and oncology preferred
• Ability to work independently in an outpatient setting

Qualifications & Skills

• Board certification is negotiable
• Excellent communication and clinical skills
