HELPER~2ND SHIFT

About the role

Work as part of a team in support of a manufacturing operation with a goal of increasing productivity, decreasing downtime and waste. Assume an active role in overall plant and facilities-related work. Position requires assisting all jobs on the plant floor. Follow all company safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures. Maintain shop and shop equipment per 5S Standards. Good housekeeping acumen. May be required to stack parts up to 30 lbs. for a period of up to 12 hours. Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing operations to increase productivity and reduce downtime and waste.
• Assist with plant and facilities-related tasks.
• Perform all jobs on the plant floor as needed.
• Follow company safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures.
• Maintain shop and equipment according to 5S Standards.
• Stack parts up to 30 lbs. for extended periods (up to 12 hours).

Requirements

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Passion for maintaining a safe work environment.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Willingness to work the SECOND SHIFT (3PM start daily).
• Good attendance record.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment.
• Understanding that temperatures and workload volumes may vary.

Pay

Starting hourly pay: $20.57 per hour.

Annual bonus based on plant performance metrics.

Schedule

Facility operates on a 10-hour, 4-day workweek.
